Frederic Jurie is a professor at the French University of Caen Normandie (Computer Science Department) member of GREYC-UMR6072 Research Lab (affiliated with Normandie Univ, UNICAEN, ENSICAEN, CNRS).

His research interests lie predominantly in the area of Computer Vision, particularly with respect to object recognition, image classification and object detection.
